When this book first came out, Goodreads was blowing up with positive reviews. In fact, the reviews were so good that I was worried the book wouldn't live up to the hype. I read Forman's previous If I Stay series, and it almost made me cry, but Just One Day seemed... too romantic and cheesy. Well, I was wrong and I apologize for even thinking such blasphemous thoughts, because Just One Day toyed with my emotions for the first half of the book and them stomped on them for the rest of it, and I still couldn't stop reading. And, yes, I'm aware that was a run-on sentence, but it was necessary to show how good this book was. Now, not to be attacked by Forman fangirls, but I did get a little overwhelmed by the romance at the opening of the story. I didn't have a chance to be surprised by it; the second the Attractive Male arrived, I assumed he would be the main love interest. And he is a good character, and they were precious together, but at times their interactions were a little... too cute. But only sometimes. Even writing this feels like blasphemy. Who am I kidding? The book was still really good, and I definitely recommend it.
